UnityK9 Academy Puppy Class Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction Welcome to UnityK9 Academy’s Puppy Classes. By enrolling your puppy in our classes, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Enrollment Requirements 2.1. A completed and signed enrollment form is required to participate in the Puppy Classes. 2.2. Puppies must meet UnityK9’s health and behavior criteria. 2.3. Owners are responsible for ensuring their puppies are suitable for group class environments.

3. Booking and Packages 3.1. Puppy Classes are offered as a 6-week program. 3.2. Payment for the 6-week program is non-refundable once booked. 3.3. Classes must be attended as scheduled; missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.

4. Cancellation Policy 4.1. Cancellations are not permitted once the 6-week program has commenced.

5. Class Structure and Safety 5.1. Classes will be conducted by experienced trainers in a safe and controlled environment. 5.2. Owners are responsible for their puppies’ behavior during the class. 5.3. UnityK9 reserves the right to remove a puppy from the class if it poses a safety risk to others.

6. Owner Responsibilities 6.1. Owners must arrive on time and bring all necessary items, including a leash, collar, and treats. 6.2. Owners must actively participate in the class and practice training exercises at home.

7. Payment and Fees 7.1. Full payment for the 6-week program is required at the time the booking is confirmed. 7.2. Late payments or unpaid fees may result in the cancellation of your booking.

8. Training and Outcomes 8.1. UnityK9 will provide structured training to help you and your puppy develop foundational skills. 8.2. No guarantees are made regarding specific behavior changes or outcomes, as success depends on consistent practice and reinforcement at home.

9. Liability 9.1. UnityK9 takes every precaution to ensure safety but acknowledges that inherent risks are associated with training and socialization. 9.2. UnityK9 is not responsible for injuries, illnesses, or damages resulting from your puppy’s behavior during or after classes. 9.3. Owners agree to indemnify UnityK9 against any claims arising from their puppy’s actions.

10. Media Release 10.1. By enrolling, you consent to UnityK9 photographing and recording your puppy during classes. Materials may be used for promotional purposes unless otherwise specified in writing.

11. Amendments 11.1. UnityK9 reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated in advance.

The UnityK9 Academy Introductory Offer provides new clients six sessions for the price of five as a trial of our Day Train service. By participating, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility:

   • Offer is valid for new clients only and is limited to one package per individual dog in each household.

   • Each individual dog within the household may utilize the offer once as part of the introductory trial.

   • Dogs must meet the health and vaccination requirements set by UnityK9 Academy.

2. Package Details:

   • The package includes six training sessions for the price of five.

   • All six sessions must be used within a 6-week period from the date of the first session.

   • Sessions are not transferable between dogs; each dog must complete their own set of sessions.

3. Trial Purpose:

   • This offer is intended as an introductory trial to evaluate the suitability of the Day Train service for your dog(s).

4. Scheduling:

   • Sessions must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.

   • Unused sessions within the 6-week period will be forfeited unless an exception is made in writing by UnityK9 Academy.

5. Non-Refundable:

   • Payment for the package is non-refundable, regardless of the number of sessions completed.

6. Behavioral and Health Requirements:

   • Owners must disclose any medical conditions, behavioral issues, or aggression concerns before training begins.

   • UnityK9 Academy reserves the right to discontinue services if safety or well-being is compromised.

7. Owner Responsibility:

   • Owners are expected to reinforce training techniques at home to ensure progress.

   • Any missed sessions without prior notice may not be rescheduled.

8. Modification and Termination:

   • UnityK9 Academy reserves the right to modify or terminate this offer at any time without notice, provided existing packages are honored under the original terms.

UnityK9 Academy Day Train Service Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction Welcome to UnityK9 Academy’s Day Train Service. By booking our services, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before proceeding.

2. Enrolment Requirements 2.1. A completed and signed enrolment form is required for participation in the Day Train Service. 2.2. All dogs must meet UnityK9’s health and behavior criteria.

3. Booking and Packages 3.1. Day Train Services are offered in 4-week packages. 3.2. Packages are non-refundable once booked. 3.3. Booked sessions must be used within the 4-week period. Unused sessions after this time will be forfeited. 3.4. UnityK9 will attempt to reschedule missed sessions within the same week where possible, but this is not guaranteed. 3.5. Ad hoc Day Train bookings cancelled within 48 hours will be charged, but we will look to move the booking within the same week where possible.

4. Cancellation Policy 4.1. Cancellations are not permitted within 48 hours of the scheduled session.

5. Dog Handling and Safety 5.1. By enrolling, you agree that your dog may be crated during training sessions and for transport purposes. This ensures their safety and prevents free-roaming behaviours that may impact training or pose risks. 5.2. Dogs may be transported to various environments as part of the training program. 5.3. Structured socialization will be conducted at the trainer’s discretion based on your dog’s readiness. 5.4. Various tools will only be used at the owner’s request by a fully experienced trainer in accordance with the training protocol and plan. This ensures proper use as requested by the owner.
